I'm booked to isola2000 end of March. What are people's thoughts on will there still any snow about then?

I was reccomended it because of its altitude and snow sureness.
Think I may have made a big error.
Comments please.

A lot can happen in a month, so it's difficult to say for sure, but...

The far South of The Alps (including Isola) missed out on most of the big snow in December, so doesn't have the base there is in the North. It's pretty warm there right now, although should cool quite a bit after this weekend.

You might get lucky, but what are the penalties if you cancel your booking?

You can't seriously cancel and lose all your money.

Any mileage in taking the holiday, hiring a car and driving round to find other snow covered pistes?

Just negotiating with agent. If I can cancel where should I go? Is chamonix good for that time of the year?

Ok I can change to another resort. I am thinking grand Montets as its high. Thanks for your suggestions but I am only going for a long weekend so some of those resorts are not listed for long weekends with that tour operator.

I have to stay with them to avoid full cancelation charges. It seems that the grand Montets an option. What do people think? I do not want to jump out of the frying pan and into the fire.

What should I do?
