Why is it so difficult to get ski lift prices?

Looking at going away next month and yet again I am spending for ever trying to find the prices of lifts.

Anyone know of a site that gives this info

It is probably somewhere on this site an I can't find it.

Not sure where to go yet

Looked at St Johann and Mayrhofen in Austria Selva, Passo Tonale, Sestriere in Italy among others.

Been meaning to go to Sweden but living near Manchester there seems little choice
