Heading out to Kirchberg for 3 nights March 22nd.
Staying at Hotel Sonne (which looks great online btw). There are 5 of us (all blokes)late 30's. 2 questions / advice sought please:
How long do folks think the transfer (we have hire-car) from Munich will take?
Also looking for tips for best resturants in the village to visit at night for dinner?

Just got back from Kirchberg late Saturday night, drove all the way.
Transfer should be just under 2 hours, but the traffic was horrible and took near 3 for that part of the journey, accidient I think.
As you are going on a Thursday I wouldn't have thought it would be so bad as everyone heads to Austria for skiing at the weekends.
The journey back was just as bad though, just heavy traffic, stop & start at junctions.
As for restaurants one of the best value places was Pizzeria-Ristorante Nabucco, not on the main high street though and paid between 9 to 11 Euros for a really big and nice Pizza (dependant on toppings) large beer about 4 Euros I think, definately didn't feel I was being ripped off.
