Lift Pass In Euro's
Hi all, i'm about to book a holiday for a week in Bansko, 1 adult and 1 child.
However looking at the costs of the Lify pass/ ski hire etc, it appears they are priced in Euro's, am i better to wait and get them in Resort,
Does anyone have an idea of what i could be charged for a 6 day pass and ski hire in The reort itself and therefore in Local Currency
cheers
Hi
6 day adult lift pass is 311 leva (approx £13
child up to 12 years 202 leva (approx £90)the best way to bring money is UK pounds cash and change it at a bank as you will get much better exchange rates than in the uk or the little change places near the gondola.

Have skied Borovets twice before, TO brochures advise you to buy via them as it can be more expensive in resort. Now, I don't know how true that is, as for simplicity, I usually do tend to include our lift passes with our holiday booking.
It's been a few years since in Bulgaria, so it might be worth you checking this out, but whilst some things are starting to be priced in Euros, as the Lev is still in force, you couldn't pay in Euros. As I say, it might have changed now, but to make sure you don't fall foul, I would agree with Joyapplebee and either take sterling to change, or do as we have done before, and use the ATM's. Rates are much better then if you were to buy Lev in the UK.

Up there for thinking, down there for skiing...
