Hi, I'm about to purchase a set of Atomic Affinity Storm skis for my wife.

Do any of you experts out there have any info on these or suggestions for an alternative.

Please assume that these skis meet her skill level/ability etc

Thanks

Looks like a par for the course intermediate/advanced ski. It has tip rocker, which is fast becoming the norm for all skis. She'll probably find them easier to turn, and less work than a full camber ski. If you have great technique on camber skis, the easier turn initiation will feel strange, but is easy to get used to.
because I'm so inclined .....

It's very difficult to suggest an alternative without knowing what kind of terrain your wife prefers. It's a quite stiff all-mountain carver so if she needs something mainly for groomers and likes to go fast it will make a good ski. If she likes to spend more time off-piste there can be other options.

Scott Maya at 75mm underfoot is a fantastic all mountain
Or the Scott Rosa is fatter underfoot but also great piste performance.

Very similar ski to the Neo but for ladies.

Maya is a very good ski, I had it for a season and really enjoyed it. It helped me in transition to fatter skis that I use all the time now.
