Luton Airport had gobsmackingly long queues for immigration last night

Oh and my plane was rather late too

Was there any particular reason for that?
Not enought staff on?
Problematic entrants?
Lots of flights in at once?
Or is it just typical of Luton being a smaller airport?

Strangely enough, last Thursday evening into Stansted was the complete opposite. It was like the whole border control was waiting for our flight!

Tony, all the "Border Control" desks were staffed, and the cabin crew warned us of a long queue before we landed. Sheer volume of people by the look of it.
