Dave - did you remember to time the gondola up from Brides-le-Bain to the centre of Meribel? And please find out what time it starts and closes. Thanks

Ally

I have now lol

The lift starts at about 08.15 and the last one from the top is 5.30pm
It takes about 25mins

It snowed in Meribel last night, about 10 cm on the higher slopes, the bottom has a thin covering over ice ...not bad though and it is still snowing higher up...but not heavily

Scheffau, visibility was atrocious this AM, but, improved throughout the day. Also, snow has been falling V lightly and intermittently throughout day. Lower temps has kept the pistes in great condition, stark contrast to yesterday. Snowing lightly now, hope it carries on overnight.
A day without Ski's on is a day wasted.

Thanks Dave for finding out for us

It sounds as though one wouldn't actually lose any ski-ing time, then, by staying in Brides - just 'other' time.

Dave Mac, you're going to Obergurgl?!

I bet no one from this forum is in Hemsedal from 8th April....

I'm praying that the jet stream doesn't do anything weird before then. + 2 degrees on the slopes is fine, + 8 degrees is not.
