Hi,

I'm a repeat beginner from the US, planning to do a solid month of skiing to forever graduate from Ski School. To that end, I have several questions: 1. Can I make good progress in a month? 2. If so, is Are a good spot for this? If not, where? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome to J2ski :D Are will have short days at that time of year, do you plan on doing other things during your stay?

I feel certain you could make good progress in a month, however no-one ever really graduates from taking tuition/coaching at any level. You can stop taking tuition anytime of course, and that is the level at which your skills will remain. A few folks can improve by watching others, most need an expert eye to guide them.

The Alps France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland etc will have longer days in January. Are would be good for floodlight night skiing.

Did you plan on taking tuition for the whole month?

Thanks for the info. I thought I would do tuition one or twice a week. I have no other plans while there.
