Self-Drive Ski Holidays
Self Drive from the UK - Eurotunnel inc.
Avoid the hassle of busy airports, luggage restrictions and transfers, and self-drive - from The Channel to The Alps takes about 8-10 hours.
Ski an extra 2 days by driving out on Friday and back on the Sunday, and stop overnight to break the journey. Having your own car in resort allows you to explore the area and visit different ski resorts.
Avoid expensive resort supermarkets by shopping in hypermarkets on the way, for good value French wine, champagne and food.

The Self Drive Ski Packages featured on J2Ski, and provided by our partners Erna Low, include travel on Eurotunnel.
Eurotunnel's shuttle trains pass through the Channel Tunnel from Folkestone to Calais and take approximately 35 minutes, with up to 3 departures per hour at peak times. There are no facilities on board the train but the terminal at each end has shops and restaurants to break your journey.
Eurotunnel Flexiplus
The Self Drive Ski Packages include a FREE upgrade to Eurotunnel’s FlexiPlus, with the following benefits:

Use the Priority Check-in Lanes where you will be offered the next available departure.
Priority Boarding and Disembarking
Once you are in your designated FlexiPlus lane, you will be boarded on the next shuttle ahead of other passengers. First on, first off and onwards to your destination.

4. Carry a shovel, torch, gloves, spare headlight bulbs, a windscreen scraper and de-icer.
5. Travel early or late to avoid congestion.
