Yes, we're still going... it's still snowing and many of the ski areas still open in the Northern hemisphere are currently enjoying powder skiing!

Fresh snow - albeit with often poor visibility - has been widely reported from The Alps this week, with new snow also falling in Scandinavia and Scotland.

European Weather and Snow This Coming Week

The cool temperatures (and snow!) are set to continue through most of the next week, with some fairly heavy looking snow looking likely just after the weekend. Beyond the middle of next week, it looks as if Spring will start to return (again!) with warmer, clearer weather coming in.

So, as we finally approach the end of this winter... how about some forward planning?

Fancy Tignes in January?

Some of our forum regulars are organising a group trip to Tignes in January 2013, and will be occupying a smart chalet in Tignes les Brévières from the 13th. Skiers of all abilities are welcome, so if you like meeting new people or are short of ski buddies for next season... this could be for you.
