The week ahead

Hello,

In Europe, this week began with a band of snow and cold once again bringing powder to a wide area North of the Alpine Ridge. Initial white-out conditions gave way to a Blue Bird day or two, although Spring has returned and temperatures are now running a little above average.

Across the Atlantic, some monster snowfalls have been reported from the West Coast and there is now some superb late season skiing to be had.

European Weather and Snow This Coming Week

Spring looks set to maintain its grip on The Alps for the next week, with clear skies and sunshine accompanying temperatures likely to stay above average for the rest of this month.

Several of the main forecast models are hinting at a pattern change as we move into April; too far out to be sure as yet, but - as always - worth keeping an eye on.

Our latest snow report (22 Mar) indicates snow depths of 25 (Upper Slopes) and 20 (Lower Slopes). Le Markstein reported "Packed Powder".
