Charlotte Pass - Australian Ski Resort (1765m to 1954m)
A small and intimate resort named after Charlotte Adams, the first woman to climb Mt. Kosciusko, with her surveyor father in 1881, when she was just 21. Charlotte Pass Village is the highest village in Australia and the only Winter access is by over-snow transport from Perisher Valley, 8km away, it also hold's the record for the coldest temperature ever recorded in Australia, - 23 degrees Celsius. The resort is proud of its isolation and the intimate atmosphere this creates, along with queue free skiing. The historic Kosciusko Chalet at the resorts centre was established in 1930 and represent the birth of modern skiing in Australia.
