The only mountain in the Midwest to receive the NSAA (US's National Ski Areas Association) Award of Excellence. The centre has a good vertical by Midwest standards and a reputation for snowmaking, groomuing and its terrain park quality. The centre offers free timed racing and free ski and snowboard corral. There's night skiing on Friday and Saturday nights.
