Steeplechase - American Ski Resort

A new ski area which opened for the 2000 - 2001 season. Located high above the Zumbro River valley, Steeplechase Ski and Snowboard Park boasts seventeen runs, from gentle cruisers to challenging black diamonds . The resort's chalet, located high above the slopes, features majestic views, cathedral ceilings and an authentic clock tower reminiscent of ski villages in the Swiss Alps. The resort is located 18 miles (27km) north of Rochester.

There are five Airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Steeplechase are perfectly feasible. Baltimore-Washington Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
