Rapidly expanding and improving Intrawest owned resort (the same company which operates other winter sports resort success stories such as Whistler and Tremblant). Offered late Spring skiing by saving a mountain of snow under wraps for a special event in 2000. Added a dog sledding operation for the 2000-01 season.

The American ski resort of Snowshoe has direct access to 57 individual pistes, served by 14 ski lifts.

Snowmaking :- Snowshoe is able to augment natural snow, with 250 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 14 Ski Lifts of Snowshoe are able to uplift 22,900 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There is an airport within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Snowshoe are perfectly feasible.

There are 13 features on the snowbord park including table tops, fun boxes, rollovers, spines, banks and so on. There are also four events - slopestyle, halfpipe, boardercross and pschocross.
