Red Lodge Mountain, USA (2869m)
Family ski resort with good a snowfall record balanced by a '5 days out of 7 are sunny' claim. Terrain includes over 60 trails and groomed slopes, 30 acres of extreme chute skiing, 60 acres of gladed tree skiing and two terrain parks. The resort operates the largest snowmaking operation in the Northern Rockies. Red Lodge is located in south-central Montana at the base of the Beartooth Mountains. Surrounded by agriculture, this friendly community has a rich history and warm western charm. This lively town has unlimited recreational outlets because it serves as a gateway to Yellowstone National Park in the summer and a destination ski resort in the winter.
