Mount Bachelor - American Ski Resort (1740m to 2760m)
Arguably the leading North Western American resort with seven express quad chairs, a huge 3700 acres of skiable terrain and a big 3686 foot vertical (one of North America's biggest). Mount Bachelor has a remarkable record of receiving enough natural snowfall to continuing the ski season up to July. Lifts run from 0800 to 1600 weekends and holidays.

Mount Bachelor
The American ski resort of Mount Bachelor has direct access to 70 individual pistes, served by 13 ski lifts.
The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.
Snowmaking :- Mount Bachelor is able to augment natural snow, with 13 Snow Cannons.
Ski Lift Capacity :- The 13 Ski Lifts of Mount Bachelor are able to uplift 22,000 skiers / snowboarders per hour.
Skiing in Mount Bachelor
Mt Bachelor has over 3,683 acres of challenging terrain filled with bowls, glades and steep lava chutes. This is a typically volcanic looking mountain with its perfect conical shape providing the perfect pitch for skiers. Many of the trails follow the path the lava would have taken down the mountain which makes for some interesting twisting, turning, roller coaster terrain.
Its quite clear why Ski Magazine readers in the US annually vote Mt Bachelor's lift system the best in North America - it includes 7 high speed quad chairs. Ski Magazine readers also voted the mountain in the North American top ten for glade skiing. Glade skiing areas are open patches between groups of trees and typically offer wide open, uninterrupted powder skiing. The Northwest Territories, Outback and South Side of the Summit provide skiers with excellent glade skiing as well as the many hidden locations which are off the beaten path.
Mt Bachelor has 6 separate day lodge facilities for mountain dining and a good variety of cuisine. Scapolo's (Italian for Bachelor) is the newest mountain restaurant serving gourmet pizzas with spectacular mountain views while the cosy log cabin style Cafe in the Cross Country Centre focus on food for energy serving soups, pastas and deli sandwiches. The Cross Country Center at Mount Bachelor offers over a dozen trails, varying in length from 1K to 12K, with 56K of machine groomed tracked trails.
Snowboarding in Mount Bachelor
Mt Bachelor was one of the first mountains in America to offer unlimited access to snowboarders and is home to some of the best snowboarding terrain in the nation. The mountain itself has natural gullies, chutes and lava bowls as well as four excellent terrain parks with design input from professional boarders.
The more advanced snowboard lessons are taught in the terrain park, a great way to sharpen your skills or just to have fun on the many features which include wall hits and fun boxes which should please even the most extreme rider.
Leslee Olson, Josh Dirksen, Janna Myen, Jason McAlister and other world champion snowboarders can often be seen training or just playing at Mt Bachelor.
Mount Bachelor Aprés Ski
A variety of outdoor apres ski available including ice skating, snowshoing, dog sledding, snowmobiling while the village of Bend 22 miles (34km) away has a variety of lively pubs and restaurants.
