Nestled in the Spring Mountain Range just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip is Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort. Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort is a place to escape the desert. At a 8500 ' base elevation the LVSSR is open every day from Thanksgiving in late November to Easter, weather permitting.

The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.
