Skiing in Arrowhead
Arrowhead, USA
Closed down in 1991, but reopened for the 2002-3 season. The town retained ownership of the property, but it took one man's passion to put Arrowhead back in business. Spencer Allen began working six years ago to get the mountain's ski lifts running again. Simple brush-cutting of the hillside and everything took approximately two years, and I was doing that on my own, as an outright volunteer, Allen said.
