Shames Mountain, Canada (700m to 1189m)
Shames Mountain, located in British Columbia's North by North-west region, is 35km west of Terrace and 137km east of Prince Rupert. Reputed for having unspoilt skiing, no lift queues and excellent back country terrain - this coastal mountain ski area offers a snowboard park, a day lodge, restaurant, pub, ski shop, rentals and lessons. There are some on-hill accommodations, or check in at Terrace.
